One problem everyone faces when building your email list is getting traffic to your squeeze page.
If you have website/s that get tons of traffic, you’re in luck, just put a sign-up form, and you’re golden.
Better yet add one of the pop-up forms (I’ve had good success with them) in addition to the normal sign-up form, and your conversions are bound to increase.
If you don’t have a website, or even if you do, you’ll want to get traffic from other sources too. Here are a few that have worked pretty well for me:
1)Write articles and submit them to Ezine Articles, and other directories around the web. This can get you a ton of sign-ups as the people reading your articles tend to be very targetted and eager to learn more…tell them you’ll teach them more after they sign-up to your email list.
Submitting articles to ezines (other peoples lists) can bring you lots of subscribers as well.
2)Sending out solo ads. A solo ad is just an email you pay to send to someone else’s list. Solo ads can work like a charm, and can help you build your list fast. The problem is how do you find the best lists to send your ad to? There is a membership website called The Directory Of Ezines that will help you sort through the ezines, and newsletters online and choose the very best ones to spend your hard earned money on. This is my affiliate link, and I would be pleased if you use it
3) Banner ads. Banner ads can bring you traffic with very little effort on your part. Don’t know how to make one, or where to get one? go to Fiverr.com and pay someone 5 bucks to make you one. You can also find websites to place your ad on there as well.I would ask about the amount of traffic their site receive, and where on the site your ad will be placed.
The trick is to get your link out all over the web. The more eye balls that see your link the better…try to put your link somewhere new everyday.
I gotta go, but I’m not done yet, so this will have to be a 2 or 3 part post. Be on the lookout for more traffic tips soon.

I’ve been writing tons of articles to get traffic, but I want more!!
How about submitting my articles to ezines? I would think that could be very advantagous.
At least there is no cost.
And how would I get a banner ad to send out? I’m not good at the techy stuff
Thanks
John
Hi John,
Ezines is a very good idea! The readers tend to be very targeted, and your response can be dramatic. Need a banner for cheap? How about just 5 bucks? Drop by Fiverr.com and search for ‘banner’.
Good luck,
Jerry
